A waist-high refrigerator with its door open stands in its usual place in the kitchen of a private home. The ice compartment in the fridge is completely iced over and thickly covered with flaky crystals. Extended by several metres, it seems that ice is growing out of the fridge. The glittering white ribbon weaves its way, as wide as the lower shelf, over the wooden floorboards and up the wall to the ceiling where it ends in the form of a rounded tongue tip.

One has come to terms with the collapsing refrigerator. Daily life continues as normal in spite of, and with the unusual tongue-like growth emerging from the freezer compartment and the noticeably cold room. Breakfast is eaten wearing woolly hats.
